Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, I photograph weddings locally and worldwide.
I have lived in New York, San Diego, Virginia, Winston Salem, and now Charlotte. I travel often back to New York and Georgia, and I spend time in Florence and Lombardy visiting family and photographing weddings there as well.
I build deep connections wherever I go. If your wedding takes us somewhere meaningful, I am already ready.

I am Kayla.
I am steady in chaos. I notice what others miss. I care deeply about the people in front of me.
I am a single mom of three, which means I understand how fast time moves and how sacred photographs become. Life has shaped me in ways that make me protective of moments.
I lost my step mom in 2022 and my dad in 2024 to cancer. I know firsthand how important it is to have images that feel real. Not overly posed. Not manufactured. Just honest.
That perspective changes how I photograph your wedding.

WHO I AM OUTSIDE OF WEDDINGS
I love art and vintage cottage core details. I bake sourdough weekly and usually have something sweet in the oven. My favorite things are Dubai chocolate, pizza, chicken wings, and strong coffee.
I am extremely into fitness. I snowboard. I garden. I grew up going to car shows with my dad and still show his Chevelle Super Sports in his honor. Old cars and racing will always feel like home.
Music is always playing. One day it is rap. The next it is death metal. Lately it has been Falling in Reverse, Sleep Token, and Forest Frank.
I have a cat and a dog. I explore constantly. I help one of my best friends with her floral company when she needs an extra set of hands. I have vendor friends all over the world, and those relationships help my couples build a team they can trust.
I love to joke. I am quick witted. I will make you laugh when you are nervous.
Kindness matters deeply to me. Every person deserves to feel seen and cared for. That belief shapes how I treat your family, your vendors, and you.
